Mexican Jewelry and Metal Art – a good book for your library
A number of books have been written about Mexican silver jewelry, but much less has been written about other metal objects created by the same famous designers. Los Castillo, Salvador Teran, Victoria, Miguel Martinez, Pineda, Bernice Goodspeed, and Estele Popowski are just a few who created silver, mixed metal, and other metal designs.
Mexican Jewelry & Metal Art, by Leslie Pina (2009), is an extremely useful reference book if you want to learn more. More than 1000 color photographs accompanied by detailed captions and value ranges, a bibliography, an illustrated glossary, and illustrated hallmarks are included.
Pina has written or co-authored many different books aimed at collectors, including Mexican Silver Jewelry Details(2008), one of the most complete reference books on this topic.
