One of my favorites by Margot de Taxco

I’m a big fan of Antiques Roadshow on PBS. If you are as well, you know that some fantastic pieces of antique and vintage jewelry are shown from time to time.
One of my favorites is a suite consisting of a necklace, pendant, pin, earrings and bracelet by Margot de Taxco (Margot van Voorhies Carr Castillo) that was appraised in a 2005 episode. At the time, the appraiser estimated the value at about $3,000. With the value of vintage Mexican silver jewelry headed nowhere but up, imagine what the value would be today, four years later…..
