Treadway Toomey Galleries’ web site lists unsold lots from some of its auctions, including the December 2009 20th Century Art & Design Auction. That auction included a piece mentioned in a post here in November 2009, a vintage Los Castillo letter opener, with copper and malachite. According to the TTG website, the piece is still available.

Description: Los Castillo Serpent letter opener, Mexico, copper and malachite, stamped “Los Castillo Taxco Hecho en Mexico”, 1.75″w x 9″l, very good condition. Price: $150. Condition Report: Surface scratches. Small dents to edge of letter opener. One center stone is a little loose and wiggles, but does not fall out.
