Vintage Enrique Ledesma silver and sodalite bracelet and necklace getting lots of attention
Enrique Ledesma was one of the many fine artisans who worked for William Spratling at Taller de Las Delicias. Bille Hougart notes that he also worked for Los Castillo and for Hector Aguilar before opening his own shop in 1950. Hougart mentions that “Ledesma is recognized for fine silver and lapidary work,” and the two fine-looking vintage Ledesma pieces listed for auction by top-rated eBay seller hilandlass seem representative of that quality.
Both are modern designs made with sterling silver and sodalite and are being sold separately.
These two pieces are among the most-watched auctions for vintage Mexican silver jewelry on eBay right now.
