Vintage Margot de Taxco Silver Black Enamel Feather Necklace
Just came across this beautiful vintage Margot de Taxco silver and black enamel feather necklace on eBay.
Thiz auction has no reserve and ends Monday, Nov 09, 2009. The seller has 100% positive feedback and provides this description of the necklace:
This handsome and elegant silver necklace dates from the late 1940′s of Mexican make and origin designed by “Margot de Taxco” fashioned as two large and heavy 2.5″ by 1.5″ stylized silver feathers on a chain of small silver links accented with traced black enamel details.
The necklace is in excellent condition showing little wear other than normal use, no damage, repairs or restorations and no loss to the enamel details.
The necklace is marked on the back, Margot de Taxco, Mexico, Sterling, the number -5559- and a small eagle control mark.
