The 20th century was a great time for innovative designs in silver jewelry in North America and Europe. Schiffer, looks at the period beginnig around the turn of the 20th century and ending with the 1990s. Arts and Crafts, Art Nouveau, Art Deco, Mexican, Native American, Mid-century Realistic, and Modern Abstract styles are discussed, and excellent color photographs clearly show the details, makers’ marks, and fine workmanship that make each piece of jewelry fascinating to so many collectors today. Add it to your bookshelf!

Collectible Silver Jewelry: Identification and Value Guide by Fred Rezazadeh is another fine reference book for vintage silver jewelry enthusiasts. It contains examples of both unmarked silver jewelry pieces pieces made by more than manufacturers from many different countries. Ttheir trademarks and national silver standard marks are included, along with brief histories and biographies of the major manufacturers and designers. With over 950 photographs and a range that covers cheap to expensive and rare to common, this is a reference book worth having.
