University student’s research project on the history of Taxco’s silver market

Found online: a recent graduate of Appalachian State University’s e-portfolio includes a
research project on the silver market of Taxco. The project required her to:
1. research a variety of sources to learn about the history of the Taxco silver market
and 2: collect first hand research from an actual visit to the city of Taxco through direct interaction with the city, its people and its silver market
The article looks at Taxco’s history from pre-Columbian times to the present day, and for those who are not aware of how the silver business in Taxco functions today, may be an eye-opener.
